We're Christina & Rochelle--two sisters who grew up in the back rooms of our parents' office supply store. As kids, one of our favorite hobbies was making and selling paper creations to employees and customers at the store. Our best-seller was a staple-studded paper handbag that we sold for a nickel each. So it's pretty fair to say we've been selling paper goods for most of our lives.
The business began in 2007 when Christina opened her self-named Etsy shop. She thought it would be a fun hobby to get her through the years of early motherhood, and had no idea she'd still be going 10+ years later. In 2015, we exhibited at a DIY Festival in Salt Lake City. We joined forces for that show, and have worked together ever since! Rochelle is the organizer, voice of reason, and reacher-of-high-things. Christina is the designer, doodler and scatterbrain of this operation.
In 2017, we decided that it was time for a change, which meant a rebrand, among other things. So here we are as Public School Paper Co. We still have the same design aesthetic, a great mix of sweet and sarcastic goodies for you, and lots of fun new stuff on the way! You can learn more about our new name and why we chose it here.
All of our designs are hand-drawn and printed in the USA. In fact, we print them through that very same office supply where we got our start. Our products are equal parts sweet and sarcastic, which is a very accurate representation of our personalities. Nothing makes us happier than hearing customers laugh when they pick up one of our products. Thanks for stopping by!
