The minute we flipped the calendar to October, my kids started asking (begging) to Boo our neighbors. They were so excited to be the ones to start the booing that they offered to unwrap all the lunch treats and put them on a plate to deliver to the neighbors. I convinced them to hold their horses long enough so we could do it properly.
We filled a halloween basket with goodies and I even pulled out this printable I made years ago when I thought I wanted to be a blogger. And the kids headed out into the foggy night to deliver our baskets. They were so proud to see their ghost signs hanging on several doors on their way to school the next morning.
I know these "you've been booed" ghost signs are all over the place, but I wanted to create one we wouldn't mind having around all month long. We spiffed up the ol' guy and gave him arms so he looks less like a tadpole and more like a ghost. ;) And I think he's pretty cute. If you're in the mood to spread some sweet or spooky holiday cheer, you can download the free printable here. Happy Haunting!
