Teacher Appreciation Printables

Last year, I conducted some super-scientific research on what teachers like to receive as gifts. My research was based on the winter holidays, but is equally applicable to Teacher Appreciation Month. My research involved asking actual teachers what they like to receive as gifts. Across the board, the answers were very similar: they like practical gifts. During the school year, they enjoy receiving things they can use in the classroom--supplies, markers, stickers, stamps, desk accessories--some of those special touches they may not splurge on for themselves. Most of the teachers also mentioned that they love getting gift cards. Either for things they can use themselves (meals, shopping, etc.) or for things they can put toward making their classrooms even more awesome (art/craft supplies, books, etc.)

Since Teacher Appreciation Month falls toward the end of the year, I'm going with gift cards! These amazing folks work so hard to teach our kids and keep them safe. They're constantly thinking of others, and putting themselves second...and now that the school year is winding down, they deserve something for themselves!
